Charente Maritime coast

The coast of Charente Maritime is quite varied with much of it given over to oyster and mussel farming. There are several islands such as Ile de Re and Ile D’Oleron, which are packed in summer but in off season are quite charming.  Here are a few photos I took at the end of October 2011 on a particularly warm and sunny day.
